Partnership with Irish Heart Foundation

Fleming Medical is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with the Irish Heart Foundation. The partnership will see Fleming Medical team up with Irish Heart Foundation to support the launch of their national blood pressure awareness campaign, “Before Damage is Done.” The aim of the national media campaign is to raise awareness of the link between high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke.

As part of the campaign, Fleming Medical will be hosting a webinar, Blood Pressure Masterclass for Community Pharmacies, in association with the Irish Heart Foundation.

Join us on Tuesday, 16th of April at 3pm as our panel of experts discuss blood pressure monitoring and the strategies to address patient ambivalence & support positive behaviour change.

May Measurement Month

The “Before Damage is Done” campaign will coincide with May Measurement Month and aims to encourage adults, particularly those over fifty, to get their blood pressure checked with their GP or in their local pharmacy.

With this in mind, Fleming Medical and the Irish Heart Foundation are teaming up with pharmacies across Ireland to offer free blood pressure checks and advice in their consultation rooms through the month of May. This joint effort is designed to raise awareness among community members about the impact of high blood pressure on overall cardiovascular health.

Join the “Before Damage is Done” Campaign

Pharmacies that take part in the national “Before Damage is Done” campaign will play a pivotal role in raising awareness about the impacts of high blood pressure.

All participating pharmacies will receive branded merchandise, in-store informational resources, and a blood pressure monitoring information session.
