The non-adherent dressing is an extra thick absorbent pad, laminated with a porous non-adhesive mesh on one side. It can deal up to 20 times its own weight in exudates so it is ideal for heavy exudating wounds. The water repellent fabric layer, fusible powder and absorbent fleece that makes up the laminate ensures that the absorbent fluid remains in the pad and does not leak. The absorbent pads are individually sealed and sterilised (at 121 degrees) by steam or gas.
