This bandage adheres to itself without sticking to the skin, reducing pain and discomfort during dressing changes. The breathable fabric promotes airflow, helping prevent infection, irritation, and inflammation from prolonged use. The Mediform Conforming Bandage retains its shape without sagging or slipping and does not require clips or tape for secure placement. It is suitable for use on areas where movement is common—such as hands, knees, shoulders, and elbows—allowing flexibility while keeping the dressing firmly in position. In addition to general wound care, conforming bandages are often used in casting preparation to hold insulating material or to wrap a cast for cleanliness and protection.
